Users can deploy physical and virtual systems and control their lifecycle from creating, updating, maintaining and decommissioning. Connected systems can be configured using configuration management solutions such as Ansible, Puppet and Salt to enable secure and rapid scaling of the infrastructure.
ATIX has announced the release of orcharhino version 6.3 today. The release includes numerous new features and stability improvements.
orcharhino now offers the "In-Place Upgrade" feature to easily upgrade existing installations of orcharhino Server and orcharhino Proxy from Enterprise Linux 7 to Enterprise Linux 8.
orcharhino 6.3 offers the following upgrade paths: Users can migrate CentOS 7 to AlmaLinux 8, as well as upgrade Oracle Linux 7 to Oracle Linux 8 and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.
For this upgrade, users will need a new orcharhino Subscription Key, which they can request by emailing sales@orcharhino.com.
orcharhino automates on-premises and cloud-based IT. It can be used to automatically provision and configure hosts and to continuously provide them with software including security errata. orcharhino supports AlmaLinux, Amazon Linux, CentOS, Debian, Oracle Linux, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Rocky Linux, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, and Ubuntu.
